Maddie Tierney

Maddie helps create a welcoming and encouraging environment for patients from the moment they walk through the door. With a background in health science and firsthand experience as a Fusion patient, she understands how much the people and atmosphere of a clinic can influence the overall experience. She brings that perspective to her role as an Office Administrator, where she helps set a positive tone for each patient's visit.

A Fredericksburg native, Maddie attended James Monroe High School before continuing her education at James Madison University. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Science and played four years of collegiate field hockey. Her educational background and personal experience as a patient have helped shape her appreciation for healthcare and the importance of making people feel comfortable and supported.

Maddie says Fusion felt like family from the beginning. After experiencing the clinic as a patient, transitioning into an Office Administrator role felt natural. She especially appreciates the teamwork, encouragement, and willingness of colleagues to help one another. As her first job out of college, Fusion has given her a place to learn, grow, and develop alongside a supportive team.

Maddie hopes every patient feels welcomed, comfortable, and cared for throughout their visit. She wants to make healthcare feel less intimidating and physical therapy more enjoyable, helping patients feel encouraged as they work toward their goals. For her, even a small interaction can make a difference in someone's day and shape how they feel about their care.

Outside of work, Maddie is a proud cat lover and shares her home with five cats.
