Llussamarc “Lu” Louissaint

Llussamarc brings a diverse background, a strong interest in healthcare, and a passion for helping others to her role as a Physical Therapy Technician. Her journey has taken her through several states, educational experiences, and career paths, all of which have helped shape her perspective and her approach to connecting with people.

Originally from Haiti, Llussamarc also grew up in Medford, Massachusetts, before moving to Maryland and continuing her education at Liberty University and George Washington University. Along the way, she gained experience working at Panera Bread, supporting student events, and tutoring. She later served in the Army before moving to Virginia, where she continued her studies in health sciences at Liberty University. She also worked for the U.S. Department of State before earning her Clinical Medical Assistant certification at Northern Virginia Community College. Her qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Health Sciences and CPR/AED certification.

Llussamarc enjoys the people she works with at Fusion and appreciates the opportunity to learn about different communication styles. She hopes every patient experiences kindness, care, and respect, and that each interaction helps make their day a little better. She believes a positive patient experience is about more than the task at hand—it is also about how people feel along the way.

Outside of work, Llussamarc has plenty of stories to share. She survived a 7.0 earthquake on her birthday, speaks three languages, and was a talented soccer and basketball player growing up. She also participated in choir and dance, studied piano at a music school, and began cooking at a young age.
