David Earwood

David Earwood is a Physical Therapy Technician who enjoys building genuine connections with patients and contributing to a positive rehabilitation experience. He believes that strong relationships can make therapy more enjoyable while also helping patients feel more engaged in their recovery.

Born and raised in the Washington, D.C. area, David was homeschooled throughout his education. Before entering the physical therapy field, he gained experience as a swim coach and landscaping crew manager, developing leadership, communication, and hands-on skills along the way. He is certified in CPR/AED and HIPAA.

David appreciates that he is encouraged to form authentic relationships with patients rather than simply focusing on the tasks of each appointment. He believes those connections can make the rehabilitation experience more enjoyable and successful. Having experienced physical therapy as a patient himself, David hopes to provide others with the same kind of positive and effective experience that he received—and perhaps inspire someone to join the Fusion team in the future.

Outside of work, David has an especially memorable fun fact: he flew a plane before he ever drove a car. His varied experiences and willingness to try new things continue to shape the perspective he brings to his work with patients.
